Loong Soul’s newest release is Tao Tie Human Version-ChiYuan! He is an Elegant doll, which is one of Loong Soul’s 1/3 scale (SD size) lines. The Elegant line consists of dolls just under 70cm, in ChiYuan’s case, he comes on 68cm bodies.
Although this doll’s name suggests a fantasy/beast version of the doll, such a version does not exist (yet). His name refers to 饕餮, a mythical Chinese beast, and this manifestation is Loong Soul’s interpretation of that beast’s human visage.
Tao Tie is time-limited and will no longer be available after February 15, 2023. Unlike most Loong Soul fullsets, Tao Tie Human Version-ChiYuan’s fullset is not quantity-limited.
During his release event, Tao Tie’s nude/blank doll and fullset are discounted by 14%.
