[Shirakawa Doll] Little Anglerfish Ryuka + Wave Base Stand Limited Ordering Period

Shirakawa Doll has just released a new little cutie: Little Anglerfish Ryuka! As the name suggests, Ryuka is an anthro doll inspired by the anglerfish. Unlike their deep-sea inspiration, though, Ryuka is all charm and no fright, with a bright smiling face, delightfully chubby fins and limbs, and an adorably curved illicium.

Ryuka can stand independently, but they are much more stable with the help of a doll stand. Because standard stands may not suit Ryuka’s unusual proportions, Shirakawa has released a specially designed wave-themed base stand alongside them. The stand is also compatible with some of Shirakawa Doll’s previous releases.

Ryuka is a tiny-size doll, standing at approximately 21 cm tall. They are available only as a nude doll, but can be ordered in six resin colors, including several fantasy options. The wave base stand is available in white, translucent, and translucent glowing light resin.

Shirakawa Doll also created several beautiful pieces of concept art for Ryuka and turned them into acrylic keychain/standees. Each Ryuka order will include one random acrylic design out of four, and additional designs may also be purchased alongside the doll.

Ryuka is time-limited, and the ordering period will close after Sep 23. It is currently unknown whether or when they will be rereleased.

[Ringdoll] Kylin Zhang Release Event, Limited Ordering Period

Ringdoll has officially partnered with The Grave Robbers’ Chronicles / The Lost Tomb franchise (Daomu Biji / 盗墓笔记) to bring Kylin Zhang, also known as Zhang Qiling (张起灵), to life as a BJD!

Kylin is one of the franchise’s central characters: handsome, intensely stoic, deeply mysterious, and exceptionally capable. Ringdoll’s interpretation captures that reserved, formidable presence while also incorporating several of the details and in-jokes fans associate with him.

Kylin Zhang is available only as a fullset, in normal skin, and on a special RGMbody-07-75. This body features Kylin’s signature dragon tattoo sculpted directly into the torso, with the design neatly painted in striking black for the fullset.

Ringdoll has also created a wide range of accessories for Kylin Zhang, most of which are not included in the fullset. These include official character props such as his sword, backpack, ghost seal, shovel, walkie-talkie, and entrenching tool.

There are also several optional parts designed to give such a famously stoic character a little more expressive range. These include a 5-piece set of gloved gesture hands, a pair of “Touch of Gold” gesture hands, and several chick props. For anyone wondering why such a serious character comes with such delightfully silly accessories, the chicks are a fandom in-joke stemming from another central character gifting Kylin underwear decorated with two little chicks. The absurdity of the reference against Kylin’s otherwise unshakably serious demeanor only makes it more charming.

Kylin’s release event is divided into two phases. Orders placed during Phase 1 receive a 12% discount and include a gift set containing Yellow Chicks A and the Ghost Seal. Orders placed during Phase 2 receive an 8% discount and include the Ghost Seal as a gift.

Kylin Zhang is time-limited and will no longer be available after Dec 20th. It is currently unknown whether or when Ringdoll may rerelease him in the future.

[DollZone] Tarot – The World Release Event + Limited Ordering Period

DollZone has unveiled the next installment in their Tarot series: The World!

The World is a 1/4 scale (MSD-size) girl with an ethereal, avian-inspired aesthetic. Her styling includes a feathered headpiece reminiscent of a winged crown and delicate wings around the waist that resemble a skirt. DollZone has presented two distinct fullset styles for her. One features pale feathers and a cool silver-blue palette, giving her the appearance of a celestial being suspended between earth and sky. The other takes a darker, more mysterious approach, with deep blue-black feathers, black hair, and blood-red accents that create the impression of a powerful, enigmatic figure poised at the boundary between completion, transformation, and the unknown.

The World’s nude doll is available in two versions: the standard version, which includes the head and a normal human body, and the winged version, which includes the standard version plus the head and waist wing accessories. All versions of The World can be ordered on either the body with the abdominal window or the version without the window.

The World is available in seven resin colors.

During her release event, The World is offered at a 12% discount. Orders will also include a gift pair of flat feet and six 3D-printed bird props like those shown in her promotional images.

The World is time-limited and will no longer be available after Oct 31st.

It is currently unknown whether or when The World will be rereleased in the future. In past DollZone rereleases, only nude dolls have generally returned, so if you are interested in one of the fullsets, it is best not to wait beyond this ordering period.

[Fantasy Shape] Mika Limited Ordering Period

We are now representing Fantasy Shape! Fantasy Shape is a China-based solo artist creating BJDs and BJD accessories with a distinctive supernatural and dark-fantasy aesthetic.

Their latest release is Mika, a striking 77 cm boy featuring a three-eyed head, six-armed body, and taloned hands and feet. Mika blends sacred, deity-inspired imagery with darker fantasy elements: his six arms, third eye, elongated earlobes, and eyes sculpted into his palms evoke Buddhist iconography, while his long, claw-like fingers and toes give him a more otherworldly, spirit-like presence reminiscent of demons, yokai, or supernatural beings.

Mika is available with two head types. Both feature the third eye on the forehead open, while one has the standard eyes closed and the other has them open. The open-eyes head is not a wide-eyed staring expression; instead, the eyes are half-lidded and contemplative, giving Mika a calm, meditative look.

He has five different pairs of hands and two different pairs of feet. Mika includes Hand Types A, B, and C, along with a pair of normal human feet that are not shown in the promotional images. These standard feet do not have the elongated nails seen on his fantasy feet. The hand and feet options that don’t come with the doll/doll body can also be ordered separately.

Mika’s heads, body, hands, and special feet are all available for separate purchase. Each can be ordered in white, MIA White, normal, tan, and gray resin.

Mika is available only as a nude doll, and makeup services are not offered for any of the items in this release.

[Gem of Doll] Remy and Julien Release Event, Limited 100 Dolls Worldwide

Have you seen Gem of Doll’s latest release? Remy and Julien are 1/4 scale (MSD-size) boys who blend an ecclesiastical aesthetic with charming anthropomorphic elements.

Gem of Doll’s story for the pair centers on two characters brought together by a shared sense of loneliness and isolation. Remy is the proverbial black sheep of his flock, finding refuge in an abandoned church, while Julien, a sheepdog, discovers him there and becomes his companion. Their bond gives the release a gentle, melancholy sweetness that fits their styling beautifully.

Both Remy and Julien are available in beast and human versions. Their beast forms feature animal lower legs, with Remy sporting hooves and Julien paws. While anthro dolls are nothing new to the BJD hobby, fantasy limbs are usually sculpted with fur texture directly into the resin. Gem of Doll takes a different approach here, using removable furry leg warmers to create the animal-like appearance. This gives the legs a softer, more natural look while also adding extra styling flexibility.

Remy is available in MIA White and MIA Pink resin, while Julien can be ordered in MIA White, MIA Pink, and Tan. Both dolls are available as either nude dolls or fullsets, with the fullsets including body blushing. Their heads, outfits, wigs, and shoes can also be ordered separately.

Please note that Remy and Julien are quantity-limited to 100 dolls each worldwide, while their outfits are quantity-limited to 50 sets each worldwide.

[Asleep Eidolon] Xiao Yun Release Event + Limited Ordering Period

We’re excited to announce that BJDivas is now carrying Asleep Eidolon! Asleep Eidolon is a China-based BJD studio and the sister company of Xaga Doll. Their collections span both anime-inspired and semi-realistic styles, with sculpts that often have a soft, soulful quality.

Their latest release is Xiao Yun, a 1/4 scale (MSD-size) girl available as either a nude doll or a fullset. She can be ordered in five resin colors.

Xiao Yun offers an especially wide range of body customization options, including three bust types, two shoulder types, two thigh types, and two calf types. Please note that the narrow shoulder option is only available with Bust B.

Xiao Yun’s fullset does not include body blushing or the elf ears, pan pipe, and scarf, but these can be added separately. Please note that the accessory set can only be added to a fullset order. The elf ears are provided unpainted, pierced, and with earrings included.

The fullset also offers a choice between an unstyled wig and the styled wig shown in Xiao Yun’s promotional images.

[Ringdoll] Xiang Liu Release Event

There’s still time to take advantage of Xiang Liu’s release event! While Ringdoll’s releases typically include smaller promotional gifts, such as assortments of doll care items, Xiang Liu’s event comes with something especially generous: customers may choose one blank Ringdoll doll head as a gift with their order.

Xiang Liu is available in white, normal, light tan, and tan resin, and can be ordered as either a nude doll or a fullset. His fullset is not limited for the foreseeable future, but both the nude doll and fullset are available at a 12% discount during the release event.

In his promotional images, Xiang Liu is shown on the RGMbody-06, but he can also be ordered on the RGMbody-07-75.

Please note that Xiang Liu’s fullset does not include the shoulder armor, bone ornament, soul-gathering lantern, or shoe ornament set. These accessories are available separately and can be added to an order.

[SartoriaJ] MSD Rerun

In response to a recent customer survey, SartoriaJ has brought back a large selection of their 1/4 scale sculpts for a limited time! This rerelease includes all of the dolls requested by customers, spanning both limited themed collections and SartoriaJ’s more general lines. A wide variety of both male and female sculpts are available.

For this event, SartoriaJ has also opened up an especially broad selection of resin colors, including several special limited tones. Complete makeup services are available for all dolls, including face-up, chest blushing, hand blushing, and foot blushing. Some dolls also have their official accessories available for order, though this is unfortunately not the case for the majority of the rereleased sculpts.

It is currently unknown whether or when any of these sculpts will be offered again, making this a particularly valuable opportunity for collectors who have been waiting for a specific 1/4 scale release to return.

There’s still time to order DollZone’s Sapphire! This striking 71 cm boy pairs a restrained, aristocratic face with an unapologetically flamboyant and theatrical wardrobe. The contrast between his cool, detached expression and his dandyish attire gives Sapphire a particularly intriguing presence; he looks like someone for whom this level of extravagance is simply the natural state of things.

Sapphire can be ordered as either a nude doll or a fullset, and is available in nine resin colors. Please note that body blushing is not included with the fullset, but it can be added separately.

Xaga Doll’s latest release is Clochette, a breathtaking elven fairy with a graceful, dancer-like presence. With her golden wings, feathery hair, and whimsical white fairy dress, Clochette looks as though she has stepped straight out of a storybook. Her outfit features a fitted, embellished bodice paired with a voluminous layered organza skirt shaped into soft, petal-like ruffles, finished with dark blue-black accents and subtle gold adornments.

Clochette is 1/4 scale (MSD size) and can be ordered as either a nude doll or a fullset. Customers may choose between the two wig styles shown in her promotional images, and she is available in four resin colors.
