What do alpacas have to do with us, a BJD shop, you ask? Well, it all started when we happened upon Inkari, a Netherlands-based company that makes alpaca products. Their alpaca toys brought us so much joy that we joked about incorporating them into our inventory, but then the more we thought about it, the more it made sense. You see, Inkari embodies traits that BJD collectors value: high quality products that are individually handmade, following ethically and morally sound practices. Inkari is cruelty-free: all of their alpaca toys are made from real alpaca fur that are gathered from pampered alpacas. Inkari is fair trade: each alpaca toy is handmade by well-compensated local artisans, they are very far from being a factory mass-produced product.
Inkari’s alpacas are a great gift for anyone, even beyond the fact that they’re so adorable that everyone’s sure to love them. Alpaca fur is hypoallergenic, for this reason it’s the most commonly used alternative to sheep wool.
In addition to each alpaca having a unique smile, each alpaca has at least a slightly different coloration, even those in the same color category. This is because, with a few exotic exceptions, the alpacas are made with undyed alpaca fur. The colorations you’ll get are reflective of real alpacas’ colorations.

You can start your own alpaca herd or make them your dolls’ companion! They come in three normal sizes: small, medium and large. Small is 23 cm tall, medium is 32 cm tall, and large is 50 cm tall.
Each alpaca will come with free gifts, ranging in quantity depending on the size of alpaca that you purchase.
