Hello everyone, Happy New Year!
This is a friendly PSA about processing times: It’s always been the case that processing times only count business days. In other words, weekdays and non-holidays. This is because processing time is literally the time that people spend working. People do not work everyday, thus processing time does not include the days that they have off. In addition, different countries have different holidays, so counting processing time by your nation’s holidays would not be an accurate approach.
Furthermore, during these difficult pandemic-related times, processing times will all be longer than predicted. This is again due to people’s capacity to work, which is limited by Covid. Doll companies in Asia are subject to different restrictions than what we experience in the USA or elsewhere, so individuals’ ability to go to work can and will be affected by what measures the government takes. In addition, as various workforces are shrunk by Covid infecting its members, processing times will become longer because there is less available labor to complete tasks.
We understand that it can be frustrating to wait for a doll. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
